Early Childhood Aftercare Teacher
Monadnock Waldorf School in Keene, New Hampshire has an immediate opening for a teacher for our early childhood aftercare program.
Our ideal candidate will have successful Waldorf early childhood experience and be prepared to work as part of a teaching team. Our new teacher will be able to support a warm, restful, engaged afternoon for a group of young children. Our teacher will be supported by orientation, training, and mentoring.

We are seeking an aftercare teacher to work with our students in grades one through five on Monday through Thursday after school from 3:00 to 5:30 pm and on Friday after school from 2:00 to 5:30 pm.
We are looking for an experienced educator with a strong connection to Waldorf education. Our aftercare teacher must be a good communicator who is warm, flexible, creative and skilled at working with a mixed age group. The atmosphere is relaxed and the afternoon typically consists of snack, crafts, and play time both inside and out.
Fully accredited by WECAN, AWSNA, and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, we have been offering Waldorf education in the southwestern corner of New Hampshire since 1976.
We have an experienced faculty of thirty and serve just over 200 students from early childhood through high school. We benefit from the thoughtful leadership of both our College of Teachers and our Board of Trustees. We are supported by an active and committed parent community.
Keene is a vibrant, family-friendly little city full of arts, music, and recreational activities. Boston is about 80 miles away and a wide variety of outdoor activities are close at hand.

PT/FT Combined High School History and English teacher
For the 2014-2015 academic year, we are seeking to teach morning lesson blocks and/or skills classes in English and social studies. Possible morning lesson blocks include: American History (9th grade), Ancient History (10th grade), Greek History (10th grade), Medieval History (11th grade), the Rise of the West (11th grade), and Modern History (12th grade). Skills classes include social studies and English tracks in 9th – 12th grades.
