Our ideal candidate will have successful early childhood experience and be prepared to work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as part of a teaching team. This is an hourly position at $13 an hour.

Monadnock Waldorf School has a short term opening in the tutoring program to tutor student in grades 4 - 8. The applicant should have a strong background in teaching reading and spelling through an orthographic approach, or a successful background in teaching mathematics from number sense to basic algebra.
This position offers a chance to work individually with motivated students in a positive environment. The opening is from January through March, and is for three days a week from 10am to 4pm. (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday)

Monadnock Waldorf School seeks a full time high school physical sciences teacher for main lesson blocks and skills classes beginning August, 2017. The successful candidate will be asked to teach math skills classes and ideally should be interested in coordinating the computer programming curriculum. We also invite teachers to apply who may be interested in administrative responsibilities combined with a lesser teaching load. Candidates interested in guest teaching blocks only are also welcome to apply.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related area; a Masters or PhD is preferred. Our ideal candidate will have completed or is currently enrolled in an AWSNA recognized Waldorf teacher training program. We look for candidates who are enthusiastic about teaching out of the philosophical and methodological principles of Waldorf Education and committed to working with adolescents. Candidates with previous HS teaching experience receive preference. Additional interests and skills in the arts, movement, outdoor education, student health and initiatives, are considered beneficial to candidacy.
